Every wheelchair, walker and mobility aid that comes back from a client has to be cleaned before it goes out again. At high volumes, washing by hand becomes a bottleneck. An Aqua Phase washer cleans several items per 3, 5 or 7 minute cycle, so returned equipment is ready to reissue sooner.
What loan services use Aqua Phase for
- Returned wheelchairs, with front and rear wheel rotation during the wash
- Several walkers, stands and smaller aids per cycle
- Beds and larger items in the AQ-4000
- Small parts and accessories on utility wash trays
Why loan services choose it
- Faster turnaround: wash several items in one short cycle instead of one at a time by hand
- Consistent results: every returned item is cleaned the same way before it goes back out
- Lower labour cost: about 2 minutes of staff time per load, compared with 30 to 90 minutes per item by hand
- Flexible loading: wall-mounted studs in the AQ-3000 and AQ-3500 let you add trays or your own racking to suit the equipment you handle
- Local support: maintenance, spare parts and consumables from our Australian team

Common questions
How many items can we wash per cycle?

Can the washer handle small parts and accessories?
Yes. Utility wash trays hold smaller items, and the AQ-3000 and AQ-3500 have wall-mounted studs so you can fit trays or your own racking.
How long is a wash cycle?
3, 5 or 7 minutes, plus about 2 minutes to load and unload.
